new sonos app does not find my system

I have had my sonos s2 app updated on my android phone and tablet. It now does not find my system. The s1 app does, but I would need to downgrade the devices. I am on the correct network. Any ideas? My speakers are 10+ years old but not had problems before. It works off my wife's apple device.

Updates removed my local music library and now I get Error code 913

How do I fix it? I have an iphone with the new app, my spouse has an iphone with the old gold app, our music is in an itunes folder on a windows laptop. The music library is gone on all of them, and I get Error 913 when I try to add the music folder back to Sonos on the laptop. Our speakers are useless without this - we don’t use streaming services, just our music library. Do I need to get rid of the Sonos system now because local music isn’t an option anymore???

unable to finish beam gen 2 set up

Hi.just got the beam gen 2 - but i cannot add it to my system. It says not registered, lets fix it. Plays the chime, then i press the button at the back as instructed, and then it says “adding beam to system” then fails after couple of mins. Im using the latest version of iphone app ive reset everything router, phone, beam. I cant get hold of anyone, live chat i go up in the queue not down. completely at a loss of what to do, if they hide all features behind an app it needs to be absolutely faultless. does anyone have any ideas? it not i guess ill have to return it which is a shame, as it sounds/looks amazing Thanks in advancelouis

I am trying to connect the sub gen 3 to the arc but on the app when I try to connect it, it logs me out of the app. Is there a bug on the app? How do I connect the sub without the app?

Alternative to Sonos

I sent this to the Sonos CEO email, as this seems to be the only support option available. My main point is to find a solution on the bad situation I find myself in, with the non-functioning new app.Anyone else, if not the CEO, is welcome to give their suggestions and comments, that may help me on the way. HiI bought a new Sonos five today to add to my existing setup of connect, move and 2 play:1 speakers. Apple Music (paid subscription, lossless) works fine on the existing speakers but doesn’t play on the five: Five skips to the next song all the time. Other sources do play on the five, like Sonos radio and my freemium Spotify account. can anyone help me out of this pls?thxTim

No connected products

Recently my Sonos app (Android) was upgraded to the “new, better” interface. Now when I go to the app, it frequently shows me a page that says there are no connected products. If I leave it long enough (anywhere from 10s of seconds to minutes), my system finally shows up. This never used to happen - it’s only since this upgrade. Any ideas on this?Thanks in advance.

New Sonos Amp Won’t Connect via App

Hello – I am longtime Sonos user dating back to first gen equipment and app. I have two current gen individual speakers and one amp running music throughout my home. I recently purchased a second amp to power a pair of passive speakers, however, the amp unable to connect to my Sonos system. I get various error messages with the only suggestion being to unplug the amp and waiting 10 seconds. I just tried to give the support line a call to no avail, so I’m hoping the community can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Why have I have lost access to my music library on both Sonos S1 and S2 products?

I lost access to my music library (on my Mac Mini) after 7pm tonight - it appeared to coincide with an update on our MacBook (that I couldn’t avoid).I have now lost access to my Music Library on both my S1 and S2 products - anyone know why that might be?These are the messages I get:S1‘// Jamess-Mac-Mini/Music’ is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path my have changed.Go to settings>System>Music Library>Music Library Setup to check the path.The only options I get are to add/delete a music libraryS2Sonos was unable to add the music folderUnable to add the shared folder “James-Mac-mini/Music” to your Music Library (913)As I said, all was working until around 7pm tonight, then everything stopped. Bring back the ability to search music library

I have been using Sonos for several years, and it is attached to a streaming service and my music library on a USB drive, which has years worth of accumulated music, including a lot not available on streaming. I have just (8 May) updated to the new Sonos app. Now I can still see and trawl through my music library, but cannot search in it. The general search function just returns the streaming and Sonos radio results, and there’s no dedicated search for the music library. This effectively cuts off my access to my own music, by making it prohibitively difficult to find anything. Please bring this functionality back. I know you want to prioritise revenue generation, but this is disrespectful to your customers.

New SONOS App - Feedback

In the new 2024 Sonos App :Where are the alarms settings? Where is the Last.fm service?Where is the Android widget?This is a real nightmare. I hope Sonos will fix all that asap because what they did releasing this not finished app is scandalous.

New App - Not what I bought

Well actually a lot of things has gone totally down the drain with the new app update Alarm Add to queue NASBasic features and most of all features that retailers advertised and sold the Sonos products upon, and now it's gone without any notice or any option to opt out of an update that actually, apart from a new look, remives features.Well I am in DK, bought the Sonos from a retailer covering the Nordic Europe. Should I and all others contact the retailer saying ‘Well this is not what You sold me. The features You told me about are gone. This is not what I bought. I want to return it'Really Sonos. Either add the features or let user have the ability to down grade.Also wondering, what was the intend with the new app? How has it succeeded so far 🤷‍♂️

Disaster App Update 80.xx.xx - May 2024

I just want to put my review (app store) from the latest update here in as already so many of us feel the same way: first of all - i m a customer and fan since 2011 and i ve several setups in my home: 1x arc - 2x era 300 - 1x sub (3rd gen) - 1x beam (2nd gen) - 2x era 100 - 1x one (2nd gen). also i m a software dev and system admin for about 25y (large international corporation). yesterday I downloaded the new update and it s a total failure and complete disaster! it s so bad that i m willed to sell all my speakers if it s not corrected or will be rollbacked. the new design is neither intuitive nor performant (iPhone 14 pro) and also key features missing like editing an actual playlist/cue, sleep timer, alarm, etc. also my favorites don’t work anymore, can’t mute, can’t switch between tv and music, nas settings gone and are not available, some services had to been removed and new connected, etc.how is it possible that a big company like this „burn it down to the ground“ when the app be
