Network Loop with 2 speakers connected by Ethernet

I’ve had a Beam Gen 2 for a while now, which is connected to my Network by Ethernet on Router 1 and haven’t had any problems.The problem started when I bought a second Beam Gen 2 and tried to connect that to my network via Ethernet to Router 2. As soon as I connect the Ethernet cable, the network becomes unstable, devices keep dropping out and everything has really slow Internet connection. I thought it was the new router (Router 2) that I had bought, but the Asus tech support said it was a device on my network creating a loop. Sure enough, as soon as I unplug the second speaker, the loop stops and everything starts working again.I have successfully set the system up with the second speaker connected through wi-fi and I have no issues. I want to set the second speaker up via Ethernet so it doesn’t hog the wi-fi bandwidth for my other devices when streaming.Another weird thing, is when the second speaker is connected through wi-fi, when I look at the connection to it on my Network G

The new app is absolute garbage and I don’t know what’s going on. I had no problems with the prior version and all My speakers (I have about 12) all worked seamlessly. Ever since I downloaded the new app I have had problems. Can I get the old app back?

Accessing "Sonos Playlists" on new iPhone app

Hi - WIth the new iPhone app, I can only find “Sonos Favorites”, and not the “Sonos Playlists” that were available in the old iPhone app, or are still available on the desktop MacOS app. How can I access them on the new iPhone app? Thanks.

NAS or library removed from the new app???

It seems that the ability to play from a local library or a NAS server has been removed in the new app.This has major consequences for us who play music in an Odd Fellow lodge that we ourselves have recorded and own.This means that sonos is now completely useless to us.It is a significant deterioration and means that we can no longer can use sonos at all, and must find a new alternative.

New app Sucks!!

This new app is one of the worst apps I have ever used! I have been a high end integrator for 30 years! I love Sonos but will now have to find a new music system to sell if they don’t fix this!

2nd mobile in room takes over

If we have 2 mobiles in the room and 1 cell keeps taking over control of the app. How do I change that? Also we have difficulty moving back from music back to TV.help

Search function doesn’t work in the new app

The search function doesn’t work in the new app, all services seems to be up and running. Tried everything, uninstall/install of app, reboot of network. The search function is working fine on my iPad with the old app (orange one). Anybody knows how to fix this?

Product not found - have to restart phone every time

Since the new update.. "Product not found", restart my phone... Bingo... Start playing Sonos. Phone goes to sleep. Wife uses her phone to change the song. Later I Open Sonos app to change the song "product not found". Restart my phone. Sonos able to find products. Phone goes to sleep... You guessed it "product not found"Having spent a fair bit of money, I didn't think having to restart my phone is an acceptable way to change a song....

Sonos S2 ReFresh (80.00.08) Perceived Issues_Don't Signal the End of Your Sonos Enjoyment

HelloOK…call me a Sonos Fanboy or whatever you like. I’ve got thick skin and I’m not worried about someone showing up on my doorstep to press a point. 😂That said I have one word of advice regarding the recent S2 refresh (80.00.08) and your valid concerns regarding missing features and that is to CHILL.I say that as I’m confident that the majority of your concerns will be addressed and/or resolved. You’ll notice that I said “the majority” which by statement means that some concerns will not. It would be nice if the final roll-out is 100% positive to everyone’s liking; but in reality that’s most likely not going to be the final outcome.With any software and/or OS change some attributes/features will improve, change or be removed. The ones that are removed are hopefully replaced by something better.It goes without saying that everyone in the Sonos-sphere has a cell phone or tablet…otherwise you wouldn’t be able to use Sonos. Take a moment to think/recall if the OS on those devices are th

Sonos Setup Not Working

Here‘s what happening:I choose setup new speaker I choose the Roam SL It says „There was a problem setting your Sonos Roam SL…Let‘s try something else“ Click Continue To continue, let‘s connect your movable device to the temporary network… I click Join Next your Sonos will play a chime… I click continue It plays a sound Says finalizing connection… “We‘re having trouble finalizing the connection to your Sonos Roam SL I click Try Again it fails again „We couldn‘t verify the audio passcode“6 I try then the PIN number This also fails „There was a problem during setup“ I‘ve tried restarting my device, I‘ve tried on both my iPad and my iPhone. Is this speaker just broken? What else can I try?

For those of you who hate having to use the sonos app, here's a useful alternative

Of you're like me and despise the Sonos app and the inability to use apps like you tube (well technically any app since the Sonos app only works 1 out 20 times). I've found this app called Air Music, that allows you to cast audio to your Sonos speakers using any music service or app/player/webpage that produces audio for Android, it's basically the closest thing to Apple Airplay that if found. I can just launch you tube or spotify or my local file player and cast the audio without having the headaches of being forced to you use Sonos beyond terrible interface, highly recommend it, it's been total ges changer for me and actually makes Sonos products useable. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.airmusic.trial
